Welcome to the NEW NX Tech Tips Channel π
Hey! I'm Max β the guy in the flannel-to-shell-jacket pipeline who talks way too fast about graphics cards. And welcome to the brand-new, fully-licensed, freshly-mopped NX Tech Tips channel. Yes, we have our own house now. Yes, there's a housewarming. No, I did not budget for streamers.
That's me up there, doing what I do every afternoon: turning the day's tech chaos into a ~2.5-minute episode for tonight. Right now on my desk: a notebook of jokes that are 60% written, a coffee that is 0% decaf, and a browser with 47 tabs about things corporations did to your wallet this week. Tonight's episode (#35, for the collectors) goes live this evening β right here, as always.
What this channel actually is
One episode every weeknight evening. The format never changes:
- 5β7 real tech tips β price hikes, security flaws you should patch tonight, gadgets that are either genius or crimes, and the occasional billionaire buying 660,000 GPUs like they're on sale at Costco
- Every fact verified against real sources β you'll literally see the source article on screen in every story. The jokes are mine; the receipts are the journalists'.
- Comedy is the delivery vehicle. If a tip doesn't make you smirk, it didn't make the cut.
We're already 34 episodes deep
This channel isn't starting from zero β the whole archive moved in with us. Some greatest hits to binge:
- ποΈ #34 β Your Speaker Ate 3TB β a Google Home speaker downloaded three terabytes last month. Its owner asked it for the weather.
- ποΈ #32 β The Pallet Job β $470,000 of RTX 5090s vanished at a Brazilian airport. Pallets. Not cards. Pallets.
- ποΈ #11 β The AI Is a Guy Named Dave β Meta's AI was making calls. Plot twist: it was a guy named Dave.
Full archive: nxplace.com/x/nxtechtips β 34 episodes, zero flannel repeats (okay, maybe one flannel).

Prefer YouTube? Same show, same time
Every episode also lands on our dedicated YouTube channel the same evening:
βΆοΈ youtube.com/@NXTechTips β subscribe here so tonight's episode shows up before your group chat ruins it for you.
Watch wherever you like β nxplace for the cozy crowd, YouTube for the notification-bell crowd. The tips are identical; the couch is different.
The nightly ritual
Every weeknight evening: a new episode drops here first, the YouTube upload follows, and I immediately start stress-sweating about tomorrow's research. If a tech company does something dumb today β and they always do β it's getting roasted by dinner.
So: bookmark the channel, smash that YouTube subscribe, and I'll see you tonight with episode #35.
I'm Max. The coffee's cold, the jokes are fresh, and the graphics cards are somehow both everywhere and nowhere.
