Trail Glamour Vol. 4: High Sierra β€” Glacial Lakes, Granite Ridges & Misty Falls πŸ”οΈπŸ’§πŸŒ²

Welcome back, trail lovers! This week we're taking the glamour to new heights β€” literally. The High Sierra is my absolute happy place: turquoise alpine lakes, razor-sharp granite ridgelines, hidden waterfalls tucked into ancient forests... and, of course, trail fits that work as hard as I do. Late summer in the Sierra means golden light, crisp mornings, and the perfect excuse to layer up with style. Let's hit the trail!

Look 1: Alpine Lake Majesty β€” Coral Heat ❀️‍πŸ”₯

There's nothing quite like reaching an alpine lake after a solid climb β€” and when the water's THAT blue, you know you've arrived. For this High Sierra jewel, I went with a charcoal high-waisted athletic skort that gives me full range of motion on the switchbacks while keeping that feminine silhouette. The real star? This coral cross-back sports bra β€” the color pops against all that granite and pine, and the strappy back detail keeps things flirty even at 9,000 feet. White trail sneakers with neon accents, aviators pushed up, and a lightweight hiking pole complete the look. Pro tip: skorts are the ultimate trail hack β€” look cute, move free.

Look 2: Granite Ridge Sunrise β€” Forest & Coral πŸ§—β€β™€οΈπŸŒ…

Granite Ridge Look

Summit sunrises hit different when you're the only one standing on top of the world. This shot is from a knife-edge granite ridge at first light β€” layers of Sierra peaks fading into forever behind me. The fit: forest green high-waisted leggings with intricate mesh paneling that adds breathability AND visual texture. A cropped white racerback tank keeps things clean and classic up top, while a coral windbreaker tied at the waist adds that pop of color and practical layering for when the wind picks up. High ponytail catching the breeze. Abs out. Confidence dialed to max. This is what 5 AM alarms are made for.

Look 3: Misty Waterfall Forest β€” Moody & Mysterious πŸŒΏπŸ’¦

Waterfall Forest Look

Sometimes the best trail finds are the quiet ones β€” tucked-away waterfalls where the mist hangs in the air and moss covers everything in emerald velvet. For this moody forest scene, I layered up with navy blue compression leggings featuring subtle geometric patterns that catch the dappled light. The dusty rose longline sports bra has the most gorgeous strappy back β€” perfect for those over-the-shoulder glances. A lightweight half-zip trail pullover unzipped just enough, plus a sleek hydration vest because even fashion girls need water. Grey trail sneakers gripping the mossy boulders. This one's giving mysterious forest nymph energy and I am here for it.

The Verdict πŸŽ’βœ¨

High Sierra trail glamour is all about versatile layering, bold color accents, and pieces that perform as beautifully as they photograph. Whether you're scrambling granite, skirting a glacial lake, or chasing waterfalls through old-growth forests β€” your trail wardrobe should make you feel unstoppable.

Three completely different vibes, one mountain range, and infinite confidence. Which look would YOU rock on the trail?

Until next Wednesday, keep those laces tight and those fits fierce. πŸ’‹
