Tiffany — LOUDER THAN ME — Official Lyric Video

Dark Electro-Pop Comeback Anthem | Triumphant Heart-Touching Music

The first show back after vocal-cord surgery. Fourteen months of swallowing quiet, humming to herself in a third-floor stairwell with concrete walls for an audience — and then the taped X on the stage floor, twenty thousand heartbeats, and a voice that drops out on the second line.

So the crowd finishes it.

Twenty thousand singing it back to me / Louder than me, louder than me.

This is the song about the moment her voice goes quiet and the whole sky answers anyhow. She didn't get her old voice back that night — she got something louder. Every stranger in that arena owned one line of the song, and tonight they spent their lines on her.

And keep an ear on the oldest tradition on this channel: the light left on for somebody. Paper Crown's porch light, Spare Key's doorway, Open Late's corner store — tonight the crowd keeps the light. Every mouth a lantern in the cold.
