Apple just leaked its own color palette — and somehow made black the villain. Photos of iPhone 18 Pro parts hitting the web this week point to exactly three colors for Apple's next flagship, and for the first time in ages, black isn't invited.
The receipts: SIM trays in three distinct finishes — silver, a deep burgundy, and a pale blue so light that leakers are currently fighting over whether it's actually silver. MacRumors shared the tray photos from longtime leaker Sonny Dickson, and within hours the rumor mill was at war over shade number three.
The flat-lay that started the fight: renders keep flipping between blue and silver for slot three.
The burgundy is the star — think iPhone 17 Pro's cosmic orange, but moodier.
The predicted lineup, minus the one color Apple has never actually failed to ship.
Reality check: these are internal parts, not final shells. Black Pros have shown up late before — graphite and midnight both arrived a generation after launch. But with the 18 Pro expected to be a big design year, betting on boring gray again looks like a losing trade.
