Sony just put a $170 price tag on a box with no game in it — and for once, that's not a shipping error. The God of War Laufey collector's box includes a light-up statue of Faye, a mini artbook, and a 51-card Oracle Deck. That's the whole inventory. No disc, no download code, nothing that plugs in and plays. The game arrives separately on February 16, 2027, at full price, on top of the box.

Sound familiar? Rockstar already pulled this with the $400 GTA 6 collector's box, and we all had a good laugh about it. Sony apparently took notes and decided to make it a product line. Pre-orders are live now, and fans are not being quiet about it. At $170 for three items, that statue better arrive glowing — because nothing else in the box does anything.
