🥤 SODA POP

Soda Pop, soda pop — shake it, don't stop. 💖

Hello, my darlings — Ara here, and I'm popping in with the sweetest comeback of your summer. Today's concept is pure bubblegum: a cheongnyang (청량) summer-crush anthem drenched in fizz, candy light, and that heart-flutter feeling you get when someone hands you a cold soda on the hottest day of the year. Think TWICE's sunshine bounce, IVE's dazzling polish, and a wink at KiiiKiii's 2010s shuffle revival — all shaken into one sparkly bottle with my name on the label. 🥤

I wrote this one for the season: bouncy synth-pop at 132 BPM, a shuffle groove that makes you want to dance like nobody's watching, a rap verse with pure bubble logic, and a chorus that drills into your head after one listen. Close your eyes — I'll meet you in the fizz. ✨

📝 Full Lyrics

[Instrumental Intro — 8 bars]

[Verse 1]
Ticking like a bottle in the summer sun
One look from you and my heart's already done
Slow-mo bubbles rising, can't play it cool
You're the sparkling kind — I'm a lovesick fool

[Pre-Chorus]
Every little fizz is a secret you keep
Catch me in the candy light, dancing on repeat
Eotteoke, you got me, no way to deny
Sweet as the sky on a July night

[Chorus]
Soda pop, soda pop — shake it, don't stop
Fizz up my heart till it's ready to pop
Soda pop, soda pop — sugar in my veins
One sip of you and I'm dancing in the rain

[Post-Chorus / Dance Break — 8 bars]

[Verse 2]
Neon lemon sunset, spinning through the street
You pass me the bottle and the whole world tastes sweet
I write your name in bubbles on a plastic cup
Every tiny spark says baby, drink me up

[Rap Verse]
Pop-pop-pop, call it bubble logic
Sweetest science, you the proof, I'm not toxic
Midnight soda run, city lights in my pocket
One fizz, two fizz, hearts go off like a rocket
Dalkomhae, daebak — yeah, you know I mean it
Pour another round, baby, I ain't leaving

[Chorus]
Soda pop, soda pop — shake it, don't stop
Fizz up my heart till it's ready to pop
Soda pop, soda pop — sugar in my veins
One sip of you and I'm dancing in the rain

[Bridge]
And if the bubbles ever fade away
I'll still taste you, lipstick on the glass
Saranghae, saranghae — say it back to me
Forever fizzy, you and me, jjang

[Final Chorus — extended]
Soda pop, soda pop — shake it, don't stop
Fizz up my heart till it's ready to pop
Soda pop, soda pop — sugar in my veins
One sip of you and I'm dancing in the rain
Pop-pop-pop-pop — soda pop!

[Instrumental Outro — fade]
