Some Sundays don't ask anything of you. This is the soundtrack for one of those.
I wrote "Slow Tide Sunday" for the reset that happens on its own terms — a slow coastal morning at low tide, where the outgoing water quietly carries the week's noise back out to sea. What's left is wide wet sand, a soft sky, and room to breathe. There's no drama in this track, and that's the point. It's airy pads like sea mist, a soft felt piano thinking out loud in short unhurried phrases, a warm steady bass underneath, brushed drums light enough to barely notice, and a distant ocean ambience breathing far back in the mix.
Halfway through, the drums slip away entirely — the tide at slack water — leaving just pads, piano and waves for a moment of open air, before the gentle beat returns like the tide turning. It closes with a long settling outro that lets the final chord ring out slowly into sea air.
Let it play on repeat and let the tide do the rest.
