Samsung's next earbuds just leaked, and they don't go in your ear — they clip onto it. Official-looking renders of the Galaxy Buds On surfaced today, and they're exactly what the name suggests: open-ear buds with a C-shaped hook that grabs your ear like a carabiner. No silicone tips, no seal, no pressure. You just wear them.

The leak comes from SammyGuru, complete with a new name (they were rumored as "Buds Able"), gesture controls, and an "Auto Volume" feature that adjusts sound as you move — which sounds helpful until you remember it also means the buds are constantly judging your environment. The Verge has already corroborated the leak, so this isn't forum noise.

Samsung's clearly chasing the open-ear wave Apple pushed mainstream with its AirPods — and with the iPhone Duo eating every headline this week, a clip-on comeback is a well-timed jab. No price, no date. Samsung's favorite genre is making us wait.
