Fall in the northern hemisphere is having its moment — camel knits at fashion week, buttery suedes on every street-style feed, and that rare week when the light goes honey-gold by 5pm. But October also refuses to let summer go entirely: the sea is still bath-warm in sheltered coves, and road-trip season is peak. So this week I took the shoot outdoors for three very different moods — an autumn avenue, a hidden tide pool, and a Vespa at sunset. Three locations, three outfits, one golden thread: live it, don't pose it. 💛

Look 1 — The Ginkgo Avenue Stride 🍂

Golden hour meets golden leaves. A camel ribbed-knit turtleneck midi dress cinched with a slim brown belt — knitwear is fall 2026's quiet luxury move, and ribbed bodycon keeps it sculpted, not slouchy. Brown knee-high boots with a block heel echo the avenue's palette, gold hoops catch the drifting leaves, and a caramel crossbody keeps both hands free for leaf-catching. Where to wear it: a park walk, weekend brunch, anywhere the maples and ginkgos are showing off. Walk through the leaves — don't stand still. They fall better that way. ✨

Look 2 — The Tide-Pool Seat 🌊

October's secret: sheltered sea coves still feel like August. Terracotta is the swim color of the season — I wore a terracotta underwired bandeau bikini with gold ring hardware and knotted a sheer champagne sarong at the hip for that covered-when-you-want-it drama. A wide-brim straw hat doubles as sunshade and photo prop; layered gold anklet because bare feet deserve jewelry too. Where to wear it: any warm-water cove, a resort pool day, or a beach-club afternoon that hasn't gotten the memo about the calendar. Find a tide pool, take a seat, tip your face to the light. 🥂

Look 3 — The Vespa Golden Hour 🛵

The finale needed wheels. Pleated ivory mini skirt, fitted olive tank, and a cropped tan suede moto jacket — suede outerwear is the transitional-season flex, and the tan-on-olive-on-ivory stack is pure Italian countryside. White ankle boots keep it city-adjacent, oversized tortoiseshell shades pushed into the hair for the last-light squint. Lean against the scooter like the road belongs to you. Where to wear it: sunset drives, vineyard weekends, any golden hour with a destination and a passenger seat left open. The cypress-lined road did the rest. 🌅
