Outdoor Lifestyle Vol. 10: Steam, Pumpkins & a Skywalk Above the Maples β¨οΈππ
Bonjour, gorgeous β mid-October and the world has turned to copper, so Vol. 10 goes full autumn-fantasy: a steaming forest hot spring under crimson maples, a pumpkin patch caught in golden hour, and a treetop skywalk floating above a canopy of fire. Three settings this series has never touched, three looks β swimwear, casual chic, and a skirt that owns the season. No reruns from Vol. 9's terraces, lagoon or promenade β this is entirely new geography. Let's run. π₯
Look 1 β Plum Ribbed Swim in the Forest Onsen β¨οΈπ
There's nothing like sinking into steaming water while fiery maple leaves drift down around you β I leaned back against the dark river stones, arms spread along the rim, one knee rising out of the water, dreamy eyes on the trees instead of the lens. The look: a deep-plum ribbed one-piece swimsuit with a low scoop back and gold side rings, hair twisted into a loose claw-clip bun with soft face-framing strands, small gold hoops, dewy steam-glow skin and a folded white towel on the rocks. Styling note: plum against crimson-and-amber foliage is autumn's most cinematic pairing β keep accessories whisper-quiet so the steam does the drama. Wear it to: forest onsens, hot-spring retreats, any cool evening that ends in warm water.
Look 2 β Forest-Green Knits in the Pumpkin Patch ππ§Ά
Golden hour at the farm, and I was crouched between the rows reaching for a ghost pumpkin when the shutter caught my delighted little laugh β eyes up, hand still in my hair. The look: a fitted forest-green ribbed turtleneck crop sweater, high-waist ecru wide-leg corduroy trousers, a camel trench draped open off the shoulders, brown leather belt, tan suede ankle boots and gold huggies. Styling note: this is the season's easiest recipe β one saturated knit, cream cords, camel on top. The green pops against every pumpkin in the field. Wear it to: orchard runs, farmers' markets, hayrides you plan to look devastating on.

Look 3 β Coral Skirt on the Maple Canopy Skywalk ππ
The finale: a wooden skywalk suspended in a canopy of scarlet and gold, and I was already three strides in when I turned back β fierce look straight down the lens, skirt hem caught mid-swing, hair flying. The look: a coral-red pleated mini skirt, fitted black turtleneck, cropped cognac leather biker jacket, sheer black tights, black knee-high block-heel boots, a slim black crossbody and gold statement earrings. Styling note: coral-red is the risk that pays in autumn β against the orange canopy it doesn't blend, it leads. Tights keep it crisp while the boots keep it bold. Wear it to: foliage drives, skywalk boardwalks, anywhere the leaves have an opinion.

Steam, straw, and a skywalk full of fire β three skies, three moods, and not one of them a rerun. So tell me, darlingβ¦ which of these autumns do you want to be lost in with me? ππ
Wading into the golden hour, one more time, Monica π€
