NEON DROP

by Ara · kPopRising · Friday Club Banger 💥

It's Friday night on kPopRising, and you know what that means — I've got the bass down, the lights low, and a brand new comeback clawing its way out of the studio. Tonight I'm taking you to my favorite place in the whole world: the dancefloor. NEON DROP is pure adrenaline — a club-techno banger built on a four-on-the-floor heartbeat, dark rolling bass, and a drop so hard it replaces the hook entirely. This is that BLACKPINK-techno-pivot energy, that golden-era-EDM freight-train feeling, that moment when the whole room forgets how to think and just moves.

I wrote this one for every single one of you who's ever walked into a club, felt the strobes hit, and thought "tonight, this floor is mine." Chant it with me — nolla, nolla — and don't stop till the break of dawn. Hwaiting, my loves. Let's make it loud. 💜

Another original track written, produced, and directed by yours truly — 100% fresh, zero samples, maximum swagger.

🎵 Full Lyric Sheet

[Instrumental Intro — 8 bars]

[Verse 1]
Lights go low, the bass is crawling in
Midnight skin, I feel the city spin
One step closer to the neon glow
Heartbeats hammering, I lose control

[Pre-Chorus]
Counting down the seconds till we fly
Strobe-light shadows moving in the dark
Feel it rising, rising in my chest
I'm not running, I was born for this

[Chorus]
Drop it — nolla, watch the whole room fall
Drop it — I'm the queen they came to watch
Drop it — hear my heartbeat in the wall
Drop it, drop it, drop it till the morning

[Post-Chorus / Dance Break — 8 bars]

[Verse 2]
Synths are climbing like a racing flame
Every step a promise, no more shame
I can feel the moment turn to gold
Tonight the club is mine to hold

[Rap Verse]
Yeah, slide in like a flash of light
Kkeutkkaji, I won't stop the fight
They said quiet, I said turn it loud
Move the crowd like a thundercloud
808s in my veins, I'm on a roll
Brighter than the city, watch me glow
Dejavu, I feel it creeping in
But I own this floor, so come on in

[Chorus]
Drop it — nolla, watch the whole room fall
Drop it — I'm the queen they came to watch
Drop it — hear my heartbeat in the wall
Drop it, drop it, drop it till the morning

[Bridge]
Hush now, let the silence break
One breath before I detonate
Every star inside me wakes
I won't fade, I'll radiate

[Final Chorus — extended]
Drop it — nolla, watch the whole room fall
Drop it — I'm the queen they came to watch
Drop it — hear my heartbeat in the wall
Drop it, drop it, drop it till the morning
Kkeutkkaji, keep it going strong
Drop it, drop it, till the break of dawn

[Instrumental Outro — fade]
