Mads Mikkelsen Is Call of Duty's New Villain
Tokyo Game Show just handed Call of Duty its villain, and honestly? Perfect casting. Modern Warfare 4's campaign trailer dropped with Mads Mikkelsen front and center as the main antagonist — the man who made Hannibal must-watch TV is now hunting digital soldiers instead of, well, you know.

The trailer confirms a full-scale invasion of South Korea as the campaign's centerpiece, and the whole game lands October 23rd — five weeks from now. A five-week runway sounds tight, but this franchise doesn't exactly struggle with demand.

Here's the funny part: Activision prints billions off this franchise, and yet the smartest money it spends is on actors who make the cutscenes feel like prestige TV. Mads has been the best part of everything he's touched for twenty years. Fifty bucks says the cinematic mode out-watches the multiplayer.
