Ninety percent. That's Modern Warfare 4's Steam review score right now, and no, that's not a typo. Eurogamer reports it's currently the highest-rated Call of Duty in over a decade, and the single-player campaign is the part earning the applause. A Call of Duty people are genuinely delighted with on day one — I had to read that twice too.
The single-player campaign drawing the applause — and for once, the loudest voices on launch day are the happy ones.
Boots on the ground, rain on the visor — and a player base that actually agrees about something.
The catch: Steam review scores move with every major update, so 90% is a snapshot, not a monument. Enjoy it while it lasts — the first big patch is always watching.
