Darlings, this week the studio lights burned a little softer — and a whole lot mistier. While everyone chases Pantone's official 2026 Color of the Year Cloud Dancer (loved her, worn her, four times 😌), the fashion set's real whisper for autumn/winter 2026–27 is mauve — the dusty, romantic pink-mauve flagged as the season's "insider tip" straight from the Pantone AW26/27 trend spectrum (Ana Alcazar × Pantone), riding the same wave as the royal purples Vogue calls one of fall's top colors (Vogue). The finale — and the power move: an oversized shoulder-pad blazer in sharp mauve tailoring over a satin underbust corset, pleated mini skirt, sheer black tights, sculptural gold-heel slingbacks, slicked-back bun, bold gold earrings. Down on one knee on the cyclorama, adjusting my heel, staring straight down the lens under plum-to-mauve gel wash. This is what "business casual" looks like when the business is mine.
