Konami spent years treating Silent Hill like a cursed save file — locked away, loaded with guilt, never spoken of. Now producer Motoi Okamoto says the comeback worked so well that waves two and three are already being planned. The fog isn't coming back. It never left.
The first wave — the Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f, and Townfall — all shipped, and all landed high praise.

Here's my favorite part: Okamoto admits he had to fight his own execs to get three games greenlit at once. His reasoning — "one remake is not enough" — might be the most correct prediction in modern gaming. Speaking to Famitsu, he said Konami is now looking at "a number of projects" for what comes next, though details stay locked in the fog. The only confirmed title so far: a remake of the original Silent Hill.
