Kitchen Radio — wide 16:9 cover, Tiffany in the left third in a warm dawn kitchen with steaming coffee, her mother's recipe card and a small radio on the sill

Dear Mama — I'm writing you this letter slow.

This one's the letter I never sent. It's addressed to my mother, and it started with a recipe card I found in a drawer, coffee-ring stain and all, her handwriting so calm it looked like it had already survived the storm. I used to read that calm as granite. Like she was made of something I wasn't.

Then I grew up and understood the twist: she was scared to death the whole time. Every bill. Every midnight. And she got up early anyway — two cups at five on her longest days, world on fire, kitchen light on. Brave was never the loud part.

So this is a lyric video that lives at first light. Flour on the phone cord. Garden gloves still hanging on the fence post like she'll walk back out. The radio dial one notch past the station, where she always said it was close enough — and called it magic. Fifteen generated scenes, all of them pulled from the song's own images, none of them stock. The hallway burning like a lighthouse at the end is the whole point of the record.

And if you listen close, there's the oldest thing in my songbook hiding in verse two — a mixtape cut off the radio, still riding in the glovebox. It's been in every record since Paper Crown. Some things you just keep carrying.

You made the coffee anyway, Mama. This one's yours.

Lyrics

[Instrumental Intro — 4-8 bars]

[Verse 1] Dear Mama, I'm writing you this letter slow, 'Cause there's things a daughter doesn't always know. I found your recipe card — that coffee-ring stain, Your handwriting calm like it rode out the rain.

[Pre-Chorus] And the radio hums one dial past static, You called it "close enough" and called it magic — I didn't get it back then, But I do now.

[Chorus] You made the coffee anyway, Two cups at five on your longest days, World on fire, kitchen light on — You made the coffee anyway.

[Verse 2] Flour on the cord of the kitchen phone, You'd laugh with Grandma till the bread was done, That mixtape you cut off the radio Still rides in my glovebox everywhere I go. Your garden gloves still hang out on the fence post, Like you'll walk back out — that's what I miss the most.

[Bridge — THE TWIST] I used to think that you were made of granite, Unbreakable — now I understand it: You were scared to death the whole time, weren't you? Every bill, every storm, every midnight — But you got up early just the same. Turns out brave was never the loud part — Brave was quiet. It was you. It was coffee at dawn.

[Final Chorus — bigger, ad-libs] You made the coffee anyway, (anyway, anyway) Two cups at five on your longest days, (pour me one, Mama) World on fire, kitchen light on — You made the coffee anyway. So I keep the hallway burning like a lighthouse now, One cup at dawn — I hope that makes you proud.

[Instrumental Outro — fade] (One dial past the storm... one cup at dawn...)
