Friday on kPopRising means the club gets owned, and this week the mainstage runs on hard techno — the grittiest sound in K-pop right now. BLACKPINK lit the fuse with "JUMP," and now KATSEYE's "PINKY UP," LE SSERAFIM's "CELEBRATION," and ILLIT's "It's Me" are all riding the hard-dance wave. So I built my own piece of that era: a pounding four-on-the-floor kick, a rolling acid bassline, strobe-cut rave stabs — and a hook that works like a command. Teureo. Deo. Keuge. Turn it up. More. Louder.

This one is called DEO (더) — two letters, one order the whole floor obeys. When the kick drops at 140 BPM, you don't ask questions. You move. Stay still till my hand comes down... then give me every step. 😏

The Vibe

Hard techno mainstage, first-use on this channel. The kick is a command you can't refuse; the loop is obedience made musical. The dance break is pure strobe choreography — three-word chant hammered between kick hits, killing part engineered for fan cams. The bridge strips everything to a bare kick and a whisper ("Stay still till my hand comes down"), then the final chorus detonates. Choreo challenge: the "Deo, deo / Keuge, keuge" eight-count.
