Battlefront 3 Might Be Real — Bungie in the Race
For over a decade, Star Wars fans have begged for Battlefront 3. This week it stopped being a fantasy: EGM's revived Quartermann column reports Lucasfilm is actively shopping the sequel around, and the two studios circling it are EA DICE — the obvious pick — and Bungie. Yes, that Bungie. The Halo and Destiny studio. The Sony-owned one.

The receipts are stacking up fast. Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb read the EGM passage on his podcast, and Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer went further, tweeting he's heard it's already DICE and Respawn. Wccftech scores the whole thing 75% "probable." Grubb still bets DICE lands it — Bungie's plate is full with the Marathon rescue, Destiny 2's un-vaulting, and a parent company called Sony to keep happy.

And Disney has no excuse. Battlefront 2 pulled over 122,000 concurrent players across platforms in May — years after its last content update. People never stopped wanting this game. They just never got it.

Watch the 60-second breakdown above, then argue with me in the comments: DICE, Respawn, or Bungie?
