Lake Louise & Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta

Alright, wanderlust fam — let me tell you about the day Canada absolutely wrecked me in the best possible way. 💚🏔️
I've hiked a lot of trails. Swiss Alps, Japanese temple paths, New Zealand ridges — I've left sweat and selfies on every continent. But nothing — and I mean nothing — prepared me for the raw, primal beauty of Banff National Park. This isn't just a park. It's a cathedral carved by glaciers and painted in shades of blue that look photoshopped, even when you're standing right there.
You know those 4 AM alarms that make you question every life choice? This one was worth it. I drove up in the dark, hiked to the Rockpile viewpoint, and waited. Coral sports bra on, hiking leggings hugging every curve, arms stretched wide in a power pose — when the sun hit the Valley of the Ten Peaks, the water turned that impossible electric turquoise and I felt like the queen of the Rockies.

After Moraine, I needed trail time — the kind where it's just you, your boots, and the rhythm of the path. White tank top, khaki hiking shorts, sunlight filtering through towering lodgepole pines in golden shafts. I glanced back over my shoulder with that playful smirk — the one that says "yeah, I know exactly how good this looks." Pine needles crunching, sweat glistening, legs burning, grinning like an idiot. This is where the magic lives.

I arrived late afternoon, golden hour setting the mountains on fire. Charcoal leggings, dusty rose sports top, plaid flannel tied at my waist — my signature "I hiked all day and still look cute" fit. Sitting on the rocky shoreline, Victoria Glacier in the distance, one hand running through my wind-tousled hair, the iconic red canoes drifting across that impossibly blue water. For a few perfect minutes, it was just me and the mountains and that spectacular, silent lake.

💋 Banff didn't just take my breath away — it took my ego, my stress, my bullshit, and buried it under a thousand tons of glacier-carved granite. You leave different. Lighter. Fitter. A little more feral. Until next trail, loves — Cindy 🥾💋
