Auto Show Glamour Vol. 15: Sexy Short Skirts & the Midnight Premiere π€β¨
Monica here, my darlings β Volume 15, and we're going after dark. Last Thursday we spent golden hour in a track-day paddock; this week the velvet ropes come out, because it's gala season and the biggest motor show in town saved its grandest hall for a black-tie Midnight Premiere. Chandeliers, marble, a red carpet between the displays β and three machines making their first-ever appearance in fifteen volumes: the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the Ferrari Daytona SP3, and the Cadillac Celestiq. And because a premiere deserves premiere dressing, three skirt styles this series has never worn: crystal-embellished constellation, scarlet bandage, and graphite chainmail. The dress code said black tie. I heard "black tie-optional, hem mandatory." ππ₯
Look 1: Constellation Crystal Mini & Rolls-Royce Spectre π€β
Outfit: Midnight-navy crystal-embellished mini skirt Β· Silver silk halter crop top Β· Silver strappy stiletto heels Β· Delicate diamond choker Β· Long dark hair catching the gala light
Caught mid-stride down the red carpet β skirt swishing, laughing at something the valet absolutely did not say β beside the arctic-white Rolls-Royce Spectre, its illuminated Pantheon grille glowing like the entrance it owns. The world's first electric ultra-coupe, 5,500 pounds of silence that moves like a rumor. I didn't walk to it, darling; the carpet just happened to be pointed the same direction. π€
The fashion moment: crystal embellishment β fifteen volumes and the series has never once gone full constellation. Thousands of handset stones on midnight navy scatter the chandelier light with every swish of the hem, a walking echo of a star chart β which felt right next to the only car that arrives with its own glowing frontispiece. Silver halter and stilettos keep the light moving upward, and the diamond choker is the only restraint on display. Some premieres you attend. This one I wore. ββ¨
Look 2: Scarlet Bandage Mini & Ferrari Daytona SP3 β€οΈποΈ

Outfit: Scarlet-red bandage bodycon mini skirt with sculpted seaming Β· Matching sweetheart-neckline bandage crop top Β· Nude patent platform pumps with red soles Β· Gold cuff bracelet Β· Long dark hair swept over one shoulder
They gave the Rosso Corsa Ferrari Daytona SP3 the best plinth in the hall β sculpted carbon curves, wraparound windscreen, one of just 599 ever built β so I did the only polite thing and sat down next to it. Legs crossed, leaning back on one hand, hair tucked behind one ear, giving the camera the exact smirk of a woman who knows the statue next to her cost more than a small island. The spotlights treated us both like the reveal. β€οΈ
The fashion moment: bandage dressing β a series first, and honestly a scandal it took fifteen volumes. Sculpted seaming maps the body the way the SP3's panels map the wind: nothing accidental, everything intentional. Scarlet on Rosso is the boldest match in series history β color-blocking with a hypercar β while the nude platforms with red soles wink at the only other Italian staple in the room. The gold cuff is my only jewelry because the car brought its own. Iconverona, meet icon. ποΈπ₯
Look 3: Graphite Chainmail Mini & Cadillac Celestiq π€πͺ

Outfit: Graphite-grey metallic chainmail mini skirt Β· Black silk corset-style bustier crop top with boning detail Β· Black patent stiletto pumps Β· Chandelier drop earrings Β· Long dark hair catching the light
The finale belongs to the exit β framed in a tall arched doorway, hands on the marble, one heel raised behind me, giving the lens a delighted look that says follow me without saying anything at all. And glowing in the melt behind me: the blacked-out Cadillac Celestiq, GM's hand-built flagship with its panoramic glass roof and illuminated grille β a fastback silhouette that looks like the night itself got a tailor. Each one takes months to build by hand. Worth every one. π€
The fashion moment: chainmail β the series' first true armor, and the finale needed teeth. Liquid-graphite links catch the blue-grey architectural light and move like poured metal, which pairs dangerously with a car whose whole personality is engineered shadow. The boned corset bustier gives the silhouette structure, patent stilettos mirror the car's blacked-out trim, and the chandelier drop earrings make sure even my ears understand the venue. Darling, if the dress code wanted subtle, it shouldn't have hung ten thousand crystals over my head. πͺβ¨

This week traded paddocks for pedestals: three gala-night firsts, three series-first fabrics, and a color match so bold the SP3 blushed first. Gala season proved one thing, darling β a chandelier doesn't outshine a short skirt, it gives it stage lighting. π₯
So which reveal wins the night β the constellation Spectre carpet stride? The scarlet bandage throne beside the SP3? Or the chainmail doorway exit with the Celestiq watching? Vote below β you're styling Vol. 16.
Until next Thursday: keep your hems brave, your entrances lit, and your exits worth following. π₯
