So I went picnic-core gone procacious: a sky-blue gingham A-line mini โ the series' first gingham โ hemmed somewhere between church social and scandal. A white tie-front crop with puff sleeves keeps it innocent; the ankle-strap heels and that locket resting low do not. Pearls, braids, and a door I had to bow beneath to enter. Golden afternoon under the oaks, and I'm seated on a stone plinth like the trophy itself, ankles crossed, one hand on the fender of the black Jaguar E-Type โ the car Enzo Ferrari allegedly called the most beautiful ever made. When the competition's compliment is that generous, you don't argue. You pose beside it. ๐
Velvet in October is non-negotiable, so: a deep emerald velvet wrap mini โ the series' first velvet โ tied in a bow at the hip because every gift should hint at unwrapping. A long-sleeve black bodysuit, sheer tights, pointed stilettos, and vintage gold buttons echoing the dash dials. Sunset on the estate lawn, long shadows, and the closing shot: mid-stride, glance back over my shoulder, right past the shark-nose of the burgundy Ferrari 275 GTB โ the long-hood 60s Berlinetta with a Colombo V12 and a silhouette auction rooms go to war over. I kept walking. You kept staring. That's the whole marketing strategy. ๐
And in an eleven-volume first: denim. A dark-indigo raw-denim button-front mini โ workwear's naughtiest edit โ cinched with a tan leather belt, a white ribbed tank, and suede stiletto mules grounding the gold hoops and layered chains. Breeze in my hair, smirk over one bare shoulder, three-quartter stride with the skirt swaying. America gave denim to the world; Maranello gave it somewhere better to walk. ๐๐ฎ๐น
