Auto Show Glamour Vol. 14: Sexy Short Skirts & the Track-Day Debut ππ₯
Monica here, my darlings β Volume 14, and we're breaking new ground. Fourteen volumes in, and after last week's cabriolet crosswind, this series needed a fresh adrenaline hit. So this week's theme is the Track-Day Debut: golden-hour paddocks, pit lanes humming, and three drivers' cars making their very first appearance in fourteen volumes β the Alpine A110, the Toyota GR Supra, and the Lotus Emira. In their honor, three skirts this series has never worn either: burgundy corduroy, camel wool kilt-pleats, and alabaster neoprene scuba. Pit crews, avert your eyes. Or don't. ππ
Look 1: Burgundy Corduroy A-Line & Alpine A110 π·π΅
Outfit: Burgundy corduroy A-line mini skirt Β· Fitted cream long-sleeve crop top Β· Chestnut suede knee-high boots Β· Chunky gold hoop earrings Β· Small brown leather crossbody bag Β· Long dark hair lifting in the paddock breeze
Pit lane at golden hour, and I'm caught mid-glance over my shoulder, hip resting against the rear haunch of the Bleu Alpine blue A110 β that mid-engine French featherweight, all sculpted aluminum and flickable agility, sitting prettier than anything else in the paddock. The dreamy gaze wasn't for the camera, darling. It was for the exit I was planning with that car. π·
The fashion moment: corduroy β fourteen volumes and this series has never once worn the wale! Its ridged velvet-like ribs catch raking autumn light like tiny speed streaks, and burgundy is fall's deepest, moodiest red. Chestnut suede boots climb the leg, the cream crop balances the rich skirt, and the crossbody bag says I came to drive, not to be carried. Fall foliage as backdrop, French engineering as accessory. TrΓ¨s rapide. π΅β¨
Look 2: Camel Wool Kilt-Pleated Mini & Toyota GR Supra π§Έπ΄

Outfit: Camel wool kilt-pleated mini skirt with leather buckle strap Β· Fitted ivory ribbed turtleneck crop top Β· Cream cable-knit over-the-knee socks Β· Tan leather ankle-strap heels Β· Chunky gold statement earrings Β· Thin gold watch Β· Dark hair caught mid-spin
The track apron, grandstands humming behind me, and I'm caught mid-twirl beside the signal-red GR Supra β Toyota's twin-turbo legend reborn, that long hood and muscular haunches begging to be chased. One hand gathered in my pleats, skirt fanning out, laughing like the girl who just found out the passenger seat is hers. Because it is. π§Έ
The fashion moment: the kilt β a skirt with a buckle strap, darling. Scottish heritage meets Japanese horsepower, and both are built for motion: every twirl rearranges those deep wool pleats into a new composition. The ribbed turtleneck crop keeps it preppy-autumn, over-the-knee cable socks bridge the gap to tan ankle-strap heels, and the gold watch reminds you I'm on track time. A legend deserves a legend's welcome β I gave it a spin. π΄π¨
Look 3: Alabaster Neoprene Scuba Bodycon & Lotus Emira π€π

Outfit: Alabaster-white neoprene scuba bodycon mini skirt Β· Matching scuba crop top with zipper detail Β· Glossy white stiletto ankle boots Β· Oversized cropped moto jacket in dove grey, slung off one shoulder Β· Small pearl drop earrings Β· Long dark hair falling over one eye
The finale in the pits, and I'm crouched low beside the front wheel of the gel-green Emira β Lotus's last gasoline love letter, supercharged and sculpted like a wave frozen mid-break β fingertips on the tire, one knee down on warm asphalt, looking straight into the lens with the fierce look of a woman who checks tire temps and hemlines. The telephoto melted the whole paddock to gold behind me. π
The fashion moment: neoprene scuba β the fabric of this series is usually silk and satin, so structured bonded neoprene is a full debut. It holds a bodycon line like architecture: sculpted hem, zero sag, all swagger. Alabaster on asphalt is a power contrast, the dove-grey moto jacket off one shoulder adds the exact right amount of rebellion, and those white stiletto boots match the pit-lane paint. Form follows function β and darling, my form is functioning. π€π

This week was grip over glamour-park: three track-day debutants, three hems in the paddock wind, and a series-first corduroy leading the grid. Track-day October proved one thing, darling β a pit lane doesn't ruin a short skirt, it certifies it. π
So which look takes the hot lap home β the corduroy Alpine glance? The kilt Supra twirl? Or the scuba Emira crouch with the whole paddock melting to gold? Vote below β you're styling Vol. 15.
Until next Thursday: keep your skirts short, your apexes tight, and your paddock pass visible. π₯
